Capital Market and University Collaboration Reinforcement Is a Principle For Economic Expansion!

Iran Fara Bourse (IFB) today announced the signing of a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Allameh Tabataba’i University (ATU) to conduct studies, researches, and surveys and to facilitate further collaboration between the two Groups.
The capital market is professional. Mathematical finance and its technics as the application of mathematic methods nourish technical and fundamental analysis of the market. Utilizing young academic experts in the capital market is the most important feature of our industry. Committed proficient youngers can take necessary steps to promote the Iran capital market. Amir Hamooni, the CEO of IFB said.
Allameh Tabataba’i University (ATU) is the representative of our academics society who owns various potentials to create wealth. This MoU will tighten the interactions between academics and the capital market. Iran Fara Bourse is always the warm host for assiduous and motivated youngers who innovate, initiate, and unlock the potentials of our market. He added.
“Today capital market, more than ever needs to be synchronized with up-to-date knowledge and achievements. This also will yield societal benefits that will enable a more connected and knowledge-based society in our country. Conducting researches on financial literacy and investing culture will enforce academic socialization as a principle for economic expansion” Jalal Dehghani, Vice Chancellor for Research of (ATU).
Finance specialized Centre of Excellence unlocks a large scale of benefits for collaboration and fills the gaps between academics and the market.
Ahmad Pouyanfar, IFB member of the board said that Mathematical finance students’ desire to enter capital markets is a positive event and we can provide a stock exchange simulation and training room for them.
“Researchers will be enabled to operate data mining our capital market data. Experimental results will approach practical results. Graduators can be capable of testing and measuring their models with real-time reliable data and to compare their models with market facts. This is to give the students the opportunity to simulate the trading practically.” Dr. Abdolsadeh Neisy, the director-general Associate of CEMF, Professor of Financial Mathematics said.

The Centre of Excellence in Mathematical Finance
As Amir Hamooni sated, Mathematical Finance has a more critical role in the debt market, especially the Sukuk market.
The Centre of Excellence in Mathematical Finance (CEMF) has primarily tried to form a team of distinguished experts and researchers in the fields of mathematics, finance, risk management, and economics who study and put forward practical solutions for improving the country’s financial markets.
Investigation of financial markets of the country’s needs, Drawing on modern domestic and international research and designing new financial instruments for investment and risk control, Designing Islamic tools to attract small funds for the execution and financing of larger projects, Design and implementation of tools for risk transfer from insurance markets to capital markets are the major activities of the CEMF.
