Appointment of Dr. Hasan Abu-Libdeh as the PSE New Chairman

The Board of Directors of the Palestine Stock Exchange (PSE) has appointed Dr. Hasan Abu-Libdeh as its new chairman succeeding Dr. Rami Hamdallah who had held the position since December 2003. The PSE general manager and the PSE staff extend sincere appreciation and gratefulness to Dr. Hamdallah for his leadership and service. Dr. Abu-Libdeh has built a distinguished career that devoted to serving the Palestinian community. Throughout his professional career; he served as a Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Bureau Chief of the Prime Minister and Cabinet Secretary General, founder and president of the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS), member of board of Governors and acting Managing Director of the Palestinian Economic Council for Development and Reconstruction (PECDAR), deputy-president of the PLO Technical and Advisory Committees (TAC), and lecturer at Birzeit and Cornell universities.
