Egypt Post discusses with EGX Cooperation Opportunities

Dr. Sharif Farouk, Chairman of Egypt Post, held a meeting with Dr. Mohamed Farid, Executive Chairman of The Egyptian Exchange (EGX), in the presence of executive management from both parties to discuss future means of cooperation.

The meeting presented the business plan and strategy of Egypt Post and its subsidiaries, and discussed investment opportunities with EGX and means of developing cooperation. The meeting also discussed possibility of promoting investing through Egypt Post offices.

Dr. Sharif Farouk, Chairman of Egypt Post, stressed his keenness on further cooperation with EGX allowing further investments on the Egyptian Post and for the benefit of its clients. 

Dr. Mohamed Farid, Executive Chairman of EGX, reviewed the current developments of the Egyptian Capital Market, pointing out the role played by EGX as a financing platform for developing businesses for their growth and expansion. 

He also discussed cooperation with Egypt Post for financial literacy to raise the levels of awareness and knowledge of Egypt Post’s clients on the basics of investment and long-term cumulative savings through EGX.  He expressed EGX’s willingness to organize financial literacy workshops and training programs in cooperation with Egypt Post.

During the meeting, Dr. Farid discussed with his counterparty how to benefit from EGX as a financing platform for their subsidiaries or joint companies through listing, as well as working on programs to raise the levels of awareness and knowledge of clients of Egypt Post.
