BCSE participated in the annual general meeting of the International Association of Exchanges of the Commonwealth of Independent States

The meeting was attended by representatives of 15 largest currency, stock and commodity exchanges from Russia, Belarus, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan.

The topical issues of inter-exchange co-operation, modern trends in the development of exchanges of CIS countries  as well as mutually beneficial projects in the field of exchange trading and financial markets were discussed.

A round table of currency and stock exchanges was organised as part of the meeting. Chairman of the BCSE Board Andrey Aukhimenia in his speech at the Round Table informed the members of the IAE CIS about the results of the BCSE activities in 2023, new projects and BCSE development plans for the current year.

The participants of the meeting elected a new composition of the IAE CIS Council, which included Chairman of the BCSE Board  Andrei Aukhimenia.

Next General Meeting of the IAE CIS will be held in June 2025 in Minsk (Republic of Belarus).

NOTE: The International Association of Exchanges of the Commonwealth of Independent States (IAE CIS) was established in Moscow in April 2000 to coordinate efforts for developing organised financial markets in accordance with international standards. The Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange has been a full member of the IAE CIS since 2000.
