BCSE: First green bonds placement

On December 8, 2022, BCSE successfully placed the first “green” bonds issued by the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Belarus. The volume of the placed issue amounted to RUB 5 billion, the interest income rate was 12.5% per annum.

Bonds of the 293rd issue were issued by the Ministry of Finance in order to implement mechanisms for financing “green” projects within the framework of the Concept of Government “Green” Bonds of the Republic of Belarus.
The placement of issue No. 293 resulted in 6 bids submitted by legal entities, residents and non-residents of the Republic of Belarus.
