On the cancellation of mandatory sale of foreign exchange in Belarus since 03.08.2018

The President of the Republic of Belarus decided to abolish the requirement for mandatory sale of a part of foreign currency proceeds in the domestic foreign exchange market by legal entities and individual entrepreneurs, who are residents of the Republic of Belarus. These measures are undertaken as part of ongoing work aimed at liberalizing foreign exchange relations.
The Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus “On the Cancellation of Mandatory Sale of Foreign Exchange” No. 301 came into force on August 3, 2018.
