11th Macedonian Stock Exchange Annual Conference, April 30 – May 1, 2010, Ohrid
On April 30 and May 1, 2010, the MSE hosted the 11th Annual Macedonian Stock Exchange Conference. As tradition the event was held in one of the most beautiful Macedonian tourist destinations Ohrid, city of UNESCO.
As the Macedonia’s central financial event MSE Annual Conference usually gathers the numerous domestic and foreign participants. This year the Conference attended about 200 participants, representatives of the financial industry who had a chance do debate and exchange experience. The two days Conference was an excellent opportunity to meet a new trends and views regarding the Macedonian and international capital and financial market as well.
This year’s Conference included a wide range of topical issues, covered by Macedonian and international experts from various fields. Through the debates and panel discussions the experts tried to recognize not only the Macedonian, but also the International and Regional economic challenges, to define the future prospects and implications on the Macedonian capital market of the Macedonian insurance companies, to analyze the current challenges of the financial regulation and supervision and to define the new development model of the Macedonian capital market.
This year for the third time the most transparent listed company on the MSE was rewarded with “Crystal Bell” award. Also, for the third time Macedonian Stock Exchange gave an award for the best research paper in the area of capital market in Macedonia.
