Borsa Istanbul celebrated its 141st year anniversary

Borsa İstanbul started its journey in Anatolia, home to the world’s oldest known exchange. Anatolia also hosted the Silk Road, the Spice Road, and the Grand Bazaar. Borsa İstanbul was initiated as Dersaadet Tahvilat Borsası (bonds exchange), and today, as one of the most important projects of the Turkish financial world, Borsa İstanbul celebrated its 141st anniversary with a concert by “Borsa İstanbul Music Workshop Group– Koro İstanbul”.

The celebration was held with the participation of Borsa İstanbul Chairman & CEO Dr. İbrahim M. Turhan, Borsa İstanbul staff and capital markets employees on Monday, December 29, 2014.
