Borsa İstanbul starts to calculate BIST Sustainability Index, which includes 15 Companies of BIST 30 Index

On the occasion of the launch of BIST Sustainability Index, a meeting was held at İstanbul Chamber of Industry with the participation of Borsa İstanbul Chairman & CEO Dr. İbrahim M. Turhan, Ethical Investment Research Services Limited (EIRIS) CEO Peter Webster, Borsa İstanbul Executive Vice President Associate Professor Mustafa Kemal Yılmaz and the top executives of the companies included in the Index.

Indicating that the companies included in the Index are selected from among BIST 30 Index companies, Dr. İbrahim M. Turhan said, “We do hope that the number of these companies will increase in the near future, and companies from more comprehensive BIST Indices will be included in the Sustainability Index”.
