BSE TOTAL TURNOVER FOR 2006 JANUARY-OCTOBER

The total turnover of transactions on all instruments at Baku Stock Exchange made AZN 978.667 mln. over 10 months of 2006. This indicator exceeds the relevant one for the analogous period of the last year by 280.83%. 


 


89.48% of transactions fell to share of government securities including repo operations with those securities.


 


It is noteworthy that the growth of the stock exchange activity occurred in all segments of the organized securities market. The largest growth was observed in the corporate bonds segment, where the volume of transactions exceeded the 9-times indicator (see: the table below).
