Bucharest Stock Exchange held the official opening of the first admission to trading of treasury bonds

On 4^th of August Bucharest Stock Exchange held the official opening of the first admission to trading of treasury bonds. The treasury bonds issued by the Ministry of Economy and Finance will be simultaneously traded on both the secondary interbanking market and on the regulated market of the BVB.

On the 28^th of July, there was an event organized by the Ministry of Economy and Finance, National Bank of Romania and the Bucharest Stock Exchange, announcing the admission to trading of the Treasury Bonds on the regulated market, with the actual beginning of trading on the 4^th of August. The event was chaired by Varujan Vosganian, Minister of Economy and Finance, Florin Georgescu, Prime Vice-governor of the National Bank and Stere Farmache, President of the Bucharest Stock Exchange. Mrs Gabriela Anghelache, President of the National Securities Commission, Mr Dan Paul, President of the Brokers Association and Mrs Adriana Tananasoiu, CEO of the Central Depository have also delivered their speeches.
