Bucharest Stock Exchange Presidency Elections

Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) informs that on Friday, February 19, 2010, took place the
Extraordinary and Ordinary General Meetings of Shareholders, at 10.00, respectively 12.00
hours, in Bucharest, 4 Nicoale Balcescu Blvd, Intercontinental Hotel, Fortuna Hall, 21st
Floor, for all the shareholders registered in the BVB Shareholders Registry on February 15,
2010, considered the reference date for the GMS.
Both the Extraordinary and the Ordinary General Meetings of Shareholders achived a
presence of more than 95% of the voting rights at the first convening.
The agenda of the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders contained the following:
the approval of the BVB shares listing on its own spot regulated market and of the eligibility
criteria of the intermediary, the initiator of the listing procedures for BVB shares; approval of
the changes to the BVB bylaws; empowering the BVB Board of Governors to take care of the
necessary steps for selecting the intermediary mentioned above.
The Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders passed with a voting quorum of more
than 90% the changes to the BVB bylaws related to the company listing. The number of the
Board of Governors members remained unchanged, 9 respectively. In addition to this, the
Extraordinary Meeting approved the BVB shares listing on its own regulated market, as well
as the empowerment of the Board of Governors for rolling over the necessary steps for listing.
The agenda of the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders contained the following:
the approval of the procedure for electing the company’s board members and the effective
election of the President and the BVB Board members.
For the president position it was realected Stere Farmache, while the other elected members of
