Bulgarian Stock Exchange – Sofia was officially awarded the certificates for the international standards ISO 9001:2008 and ISO/IEC 27001:2005

Bulgarian Stock Exchange – Sofia was officially awarded the certificates for the international standards ISO 9001:2008 and ISO/IEC 27001:2005 on 06 November 2009.
The ISO 9001:2008 standard requires the development and implementation of an effective Quality Management System within the company. This system embraces all the internal organisational documentation related to the quality management of the company and covers all activities, which guarantee the good functioning of the organisation and the customers’ satisfaction.
The ISO/IEC 27001:2005 standard requires the implementation of an Information Security Management System, which guarantees the confidentiality and the integrity of all information assets of the company and manages the reliable access to them as well as optimises their storage. This standard embraces the main aspects of security, such as risk assessment and management; personnel management; physical security; access control; the aspect of security when choosing, purchasing and using a software or hardware; action plans for emergency and crisis.
Both certificates are granted to Bulgarian Stock Exchange – Sofia by SGS, one of the leading certification companies in the world. The certificates are granted for a period of three years and will be controlled by annual audits during that period.
