EGX Signs MoU with October University of Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA) for Financial Literacy

Dr. Mohamed Farid, Executive Chairman of the Egyptian Exchange, signed a memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Dr. Khairy Abdel Hamid, President of October University of Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA), as part of EGX efforts to raise the financial literacy level of the Egyptian community and support economic growth.
Dr. Mohamed Farid, Executive Chairman of EGX, expressed his pleasure with the increasing number of universities and educational institutions signing MOUs with EGX, reaching 12 universities, allowing the dissemination and promotion of financial literacy in the Egyptian community.
He added that EGX management established a department for the implementation of its financial literacy program that works on following up the implementation of cooperation agreements with various educational institutions, executing the program and its evaluation to ensure achieving the requested goals.
Professor Dr. Khairy Abdel Hamid, President of October University of Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA), said that signing the protocol of cooperation with EGX is a significant strategic step that enhances the capabilities of students and contributes to diversifying their knowledge in various disciplines, especially in the basics of investment helping them to be qualified in the labor market. He added that the theoretical and practical lectures will be held to the students to introduce the role of exchanges in supporting economic growth as well as the basics of saving and investment through EGX, as well as the basics of savings and investment through EGX.
