Egypts Parliament has approved in June 2008 the incorporation of both Cairo & Alexandria Stock Exchanges into one entity named the Egyptian Exchange EGX.

Egypts Parliament has approved in June 2008 the incorporation of both Cairo & Alexandria Stock Exchanges into one entity named the Egyptian Exchange EGX. 
This step came among the latest amendments made on the Capital Market Law no 95 of the year 1992 to further strengthen the role of the stock exchange in Egypt and facilitate the dealing through it.
