First Quarter 2007

Total value traded in the first quarter year 2007 amounted USD 11.245 billion. Value traded of listed securities amounted to USD 10.428 billion, of which shares and bonds represented 92.52 % and 7.48 %, respectively. On the other hand, OTC trading reached USD 817 million, which represents 7.27 % of the total value traded. Total volume traded in the first quarter of the year 2007 reached 2.616 million securities, while 20,471,764 transactions were concluded with an average of 34,120 trades per day. The total number of listed companies on CASE in the first quarter of 2007 was 565 companies. The Market Capitalization in the first quarter of the year 2007 reached USD 96.13 Billion while CASE 30 Price Index, the official market index, witnessed a 31% decrease to reach 7191.9 points at the end of the quarter.
