The International Conference entitled “History, Theory and Practice of Islamic Economics and Finance: The Case of Turkey”, organized by Borsa İstanbul in collaboration with Marmara University, will be held at the Raffles Hotel İstanbul on November 11, 2014. The Conference is aimed at conveying to investors the aspects of the capital markets that are in line with the Islamic principles. Another aim of this Conference is to enable İstanbul to reach its target of becoming a global financial center in Islamic finance where a new school in this field may flourish.
