Iran Fara Bourse Will Be the First Exchange to Launch Fund Of Funds In Iran

A fund of funds (FOF) is an investment strategy of holding a portfolio of other investment funds. This strategy invests in a portfolio that contains different underlying assets instead of investing directly in bonds, stocks and other types of securities.

It was in a panel discussion in the 24th edition of Iran International Electronic, Computer & E-Commerce Exhibition, Elecomp, that the IFB Executive Vice President and Chief of Listing & Issuers announced the ratification of FOF statute by the Securities and Exchange Organization (SEO).

IFB is the first entity to apply for FOF establishment in Iran Capital Market and its application concerns only limited partnership kind of investment and would be serving investment in Venture Capital Funds indeed.
