İSTANBUL MENKUL KIYMETLER BORSASI AND BAHRAIN BOURSE SIGN MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING

İstanbul Menkul Kıymetler Borsası (İMKB) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Bahrain Bourse (BHB) on the first day of the Istanbul Finance Summit held on September 24-25. The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by İMKB Chairman & CEO İbrahim M. TURHAN and Bahrain Bourse Director Mr. Fouad RASHID, and envisages strengthening the relations between the two exchanges as well as offering new investment opportunities for the participants of both markets.

At the signing ceremony, İMKB Chairman & CEO İbrahim M. TURHAN said, “İMKB attaches special importance to Gulf Cooperation Council countries and envisages that the region will play a key role in its future. We are therefore pleased to sign this MoU with Bahrain Bourse, one of the leading markets of the Gulf. I am confident that this MoU will pave the way for a stronger cooperation between the two exchanges in various areas of exchange business, including technology development, exchange of staff, and offering common products for the investors of both sides”.
