Mr. Hüseyin Erkan, Istanbul Stock Exchange Chairman&CEO, elected as Board member of the World Federation of Exchanges (WFE)

Mr. Hüseyin ERKAN, Istanbul Stock Exchange (ISE) Chairman & CEO, was re-elected as Member of the Board of the World Federation of Exchanges (WFE) for a term of two years at the Federation’s 50th General Assembly meeting held in Paris.

Mr. ERKAN had been chairing the Working Committee of the Federation as well as sitting in the Board since 2008. Mr. ERKAN’s two-year incumbency starts in 2011.

WFE, founded in 1961 under the name "Federation International des Bourses de Valeurs", is the trade association of 52 regulated stock, futures and options exchanges. Istanbul Stock Exchange has been a member of WFE since 1992, having served as member of "Emerging Markets" and "International Regulations" sub-committees. Mr. ERKAN has been representing the ISE in the Federation as Working Committee Chairman and Board Member since 2008."
