NASDAQ OMX Armenia introduces pre-trading call auction for corporate securities

This new mechanism is another step towards enhancing the range of services provided to the market, which will allow trade participants to form the supply and demand for stocks and corporate bonds prior to trading session opening. Pre-trading session will start at 10:50 a.m. and will last until 10:59 a.m., while the auction will take place at 11:00 a.m. Introduction of this service aims at prolongation of time for placing orders into the trading system to conclude transactions, as well as at activation of corporate securities trading in the beginning of trading session. In order to ensure implementation of pre-trading call auctions, amendments to NASDAQ OMX Armenia Rules on Trading , Rules on Corporate Securities Trading and Rules on Market Maker were made and are available at Exchange Rules page of our web-site.
