Newly registered Armex Rules come into effect in January 2006

Starting January 2006, the newly amended and registered “Securities Listing & Delisting Rules” and “Tariff Rules” come into effect. The rules set A-bond and -Bbond listing tiers for corporate bonds in addition to the existing A, B, C1 and C2 tiers for equities, as well as envisage relevant listing and listing maintenance fees. The Rules stipulate different sets of requirements for the two newly opened tiers, which cover the issuer’s net assets value and other financials, as well as minimum volume of issues.
