ON MAY, 1 BBVB BEGINS MIGRATION OF USERS ON NEW TRADING-SETTLEMENT SYSTEM


On May 1, Baku Interbank Currency Exchange (BBVB) will start the migration of Users on new trading-settlement system. The software represents the new version of Bourse Electronic System of Trades (BEST); first time introduced by BBVB in March, 2002. Migration on the new software will integrate Users of trading and information terminals of BEST. Trading terminals is that the traders of banks will be able to carry out dealer functions on organized currency and interbank credit markets. With the opportunities that the new interface of BEST will bring, banks will be able to take advantage of the new types of the applications, considerably of the increasing probability from the results of currency transactions even under the low liquidity market conditions.
With a perfect view of risk management, trading limits can be distributed among traders and the risk-managers independently. Also information terminals of BEST will enhance treasurers of credit establishments, financial directors of holdings and large corporate clients, and also mass media have a chance to conduct monitoring segments of the financial market of the country in real time mode. It suits the concept of BBVB development, aspiring all Users to be provided with equal access to the markets and with qualitative services including the organization of the trades, calculations, management of a number of the major risks, and IT support services.
Introduction of the new trading-settlement system of BEST will allow exchanges monitor new financial tools. In the future, BBVB will continue developing new technological ideas, introducing new financial tools and services to clients, on currency and monetary segments of the financial market.
