Ringing EGX Bell to Celebrate International Women’s Day in Collaboration with UN Women, UN Global Compact and International Finance Corporation (IFC)

On Tuesday, 8th of March 2016, EGX joined 34 Stock Exchanges around the world celebrating “Ringing the bell ceremony for gender equality”. This is the 2nd time for EGX celebrating this event.

Worth mentioning, 35 Stock Exchanges launched ringing the bell ceremony initiative with the support of a group of international institutions including UN sustainable development initiative, UN Global Compact, UN Women and the World Federation of Exchanges (WFE) to support and raise awareness about the importance of gender equality.
