SE HELD A PUBLIC OFFERING SEMINAR JOINTLY WITH THE CAPITAL MARKETS BOARD, THE UNION OF CHAMBERS AND COMMODITY EXCHANGES AND THE ASSOCIATION OF CAPITAL MARKET INTERMADIARY INSTITUTIONS OF TURKEY

Within the framework of the protocol signed with the Capital Markets Board, the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges and the Association of Capital Market Intermediary Institutions of Turkey with a view to raising awareness among the companies about the public offerings including the benefits and procedures, a joint seminar was held at the Istanbul Stock Exchange on October 19, 2009. The seminar was attended by the presidents and representatives of the chambers of commerce and industry of the cities where companies, with high potential to benefit from the capital markets, were registered. At the meeting, the importance of public offerings in financing of the companies were stressed, benefits such as visibility, liquidity, credibility etc. were revealed and the chambers of commerce and industry were asked to encourage the companies in their region to go public.
