The equity turnover in the first half of this year has doubled, that is, the turnover during the first six months of this year equals the total yearly equity turnover in 2004. Regular turnover of all securities (stocks, bonds, rights) has reached 85.3% of last years turnover. If we compare the same data with the first six months of the past year, we can see a large growth in the market capitalization (shares + 72.4%, bonds +29.3%), as well as an increase in the number of listed shares. The growth of the equity index CROBEX has also visibly increased by 15.4% from the beginning of this year.
