Tehran Stock Exchanges First Overseas Brokerage Agency

Sahm-Ashena Brokerage Company gained the launching permit for its first overseas agency in Canada, according to Shahram Daneshvar, TSE’s Members Department director. "Formerly, there were no set regulations for launching brokerage agencies out of the country", he noted. According to the new rules, interested brokers should allocate a suitable business place for the office, and also equip the company’s website with online financial and operational systems before being granted the permit. "Six launching applications for overseas brokerage agencies have been so far submitted to TSE since the new regulation is implemented, and Sahm-Ashena Brokerage Company acquired the first permit", Daneshvar confirmed.
