The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) to cooperate in capacity building of artificial intelligence, data mining among other types of information technology.

Rami El-Dokany, Executive Chairman of EGX, said that the cooperation with the Academy, especially the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence, reflects our vision in foreseeing the future, of which technology is one of its main components, as well as enhancing the EGX’s efforts to maximize the use of available data, in addition to enhancing research and development capabilities by providing the necessary data to students.

El-Dokany praised the distinguished relations with the Academy and its pioneering role in developing the university education system at the level of the Arab world as a whole, pointing out that one of the outputs of this close cooperation was EGX’s Ambassadors Program, which is concerned with spreading financial culture among school students.

Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar, President of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT), said that his administration is keen to provide distinguished educational services while keeping bound with the rapid global pace in the fields of education, training, scientific research and consultations.

He praised the extended relationship and cooperation between the Academy AASTMT and EGX in the fields of training and spreading financial literacy among students and graduates of the Academy.
