The Luxembourg Stock Exchange welcomed an Azerbaijan business delegation on 19 November 2009.

This delegation was composed of 13 representatives from Azerbaijani business and financial bodies, including Mehman Abbas, head of executive administration of the State Committee for Securities and Vahid Novruzov, deputy chairman of the Baku Stock Exchange

Welcomed by Michel Maquil, President and CEO, the delegation attended a presentation of the activities of the Luxembourg Stock Exchange and its subsidiary, Finesti. This was followed by an in-depth question and answer session, focusing primarily on the functioning and the rules and regulations of the Luxembourg Stock Exchange.
