The Palestine Chapter of the Middle East Investor Relations Association (MEIRA) holds a training seminar on ” Sustainability and ESG reporting”

The training seminar was held in Ramallah on Tuesday, December 20, 2017.Members of the Palestine Investor relations chapter attended the seminar which was presented by Darin Rovere, Founder & CEO of Sustainability Excellence, and Houssam Lahrech.

The seminar discussed sustainability reporting and its importance in highlighting the company’s activities in environment, social responsibility and good governance. The seminar also focused on the importance of including sustainability concepts within the strategic plan of the company due to its correlation with risks and opportunities and its impact on investors and rating agencies. Speakers pointed out that Palestinian companies are being monitored and evaluated by sustainability rating agencies.
