TSE Hosts a new IPO, Industry

On Saturday 16 February 2019, 50 million equity shares (5 percent) of Ofogh Kourosh, an Iranian chain store, were floated at Tehran Stock Exchange via book building method. The price of each share was discovered at IRR 16.950, mounting up the number of listed companies and market capitalization of TSE to 327 and more than IRR 16.000 billion respectively.

The newly-listed firm is the first one offered under retail business, a new industry at TSE.
